The passive formation is typically "X biþ fram Y gemacod" where X is the subject, and Y is the person doing to the subject. Gemacod can be the past participle of any verb. --James 06:47, 17 Hrēþmōnaþ 2008 (UTC)

use of for adiht

I couldn't find a way to make that usage of the preposition for work, so it was changed. I checked Bosworth and Toller for the usage:

  • w. dative: FOR, on account of, because of, with, by
  • w. instrumental: For, on account of, because of, through
  • w. accusative: For, instead of
