  • After the word þæs, a noun has -es, not -a.
  • the passive preposition with people was fram, not be. It acquired that usage in middle or modern English.
  • a feminine noun ending in -ung ends in -e if it's not the subject of the sentence.
  • A home army is generally fierd.
  • The word Sanctus was used when a name was present; otherwise, hālga was used.
