Automatic refresh

Accepting the usual constraints on putting computer terms into a preindustrial language, the verb gerestan means (amongst other things 'To refresh one's self by resting', but that is not quite right. Perhaps the adverb + verb should be selfwille gehirdan or selfwille gerētan ('by ones own volition to restore or set right'), in which case if it is a command, you would say gerēt selfwille (I think).
