The original intended target of ġerinnung was to be an OE mirror of curd, as curd is relevant (and necessary) to the making of cheese. I could perhaps later create Gerinnung (meolc) and do a piped link. —Ƿōdenhelm 15:59, 17 Hrēþmōnaþ 2008 (UTC)

- Geþweor is curd, or coagulated stuff. Buter-geþweor is butter curd.
- There's also molcen for curdled milk and molegn is a substance made of curds, which ofeten the sense.
- Cȳs-gerunn is rennet.
