Mōtung:J. R. R. Tolkien

I used engliscode for "anglicization" as a bit of an homage to Tolkien. Throughout his works, he used the soemwhat idiosyncratic verb English for "translate to English" (e.g. "this book was Englished"). As I recall, he believed that it was quite ridiculous that we needed to resort to a Latinism to describe the act of translating words or works into our own language. --Saforrest 21:10, 25 ÆGé 2005 (UTC)

In the main body of this page, many of the words are not translated, i.e "bank manager." Can some fix this?
