::::If it's possible (and not a pain to do), perhaps setting Runic to always appear in Junicode would resolve it for good. I know Junicode actually has the runic glyphs, whereas most other typefaces do not (which is why Runic glyphs never show up when using the browser's default typeface; the default will almost never have runic glyphs available to show).
