Here is the table itself with the full names of elements. Elements with no * need suggestions. Elements with a start in front are native, and therefore fully set. Elements with a * behind and in front are new words which are quite well accepted. Elements with a * after are only suggestions and are looking to be improved upon. "Tæfl" was associated with games. If we are to go with that idea, then maybe "bred" instead. Another idea which I like is "gegēgedness", but I certainly prefer "endebyrdness" over "gefēgedness", so unless someone else wants to pick that idea up and defend it, it's not really worth considering. It might be best to not "translate" the names at all, but instead to just render the existing names into proper OE
patterns. Example, go to the Helium article, just hover your cursor down the list of language versions,
and you'll see that all languages use the same words, except for those where the word doesnt fit within the language
pattern (such as how "eu" never goes in OE), and they'll merely adapt it instead. Cuz otherwise we'd be excluding
ourselves from the international community on that, as even Icelandic uses helín for helium, for example. This

I am aware that very few people have tried to translate much modern scientific language into their own language (except Mandarin Chinese) ("Everyone already understands this word. Why should we make a new one? It'll only make it more difficult for other people to learn our language if we use a word unlike that of other languages, and we want our language to survive!"). But, to be honest, I don't think the international community could care less about what happens to OE (apart from the historic linguists). It isn't like Anglo-Saxon is about to become an internationally very important language. And we have nothing to lose in the manner of OE loosing possible speakers because of purism - having similar scientific words to other languages isn't about to eliminate that fact (if someone really wanted to learn OE, they'd do it whether or not it borrowed much or at all, I think) - therefore why sacrifice the language for "internationalism"? (I once read an interesting essay by Tolkien bemoaning what MnE had lost in its rise to international usage - it struck a resounding note with me). Despite all that, if you really want to, go ahead. Can't say I blame you... Even my family disagrees with my nearly hyper-puristic linguistic preferences, and I know that on an ultimate scale it's not a even an issue, let alone a heavy one.
