Very good. I have borrowed your words: will this article do? Hogweard 16:14, 15 Hrēþmōnaþ 2011 (UTC)

-- Thanks, that looks fantastic! Much longer than I would have managed, I suspect. Would you mind answering a few queries? My OE is very rusty, so I'm just making sure I understand everything:

  • Is the lack of copula in the first clause correct? I haven't come across it before.
  • Should fægrnesse not be fægernesse?
  • I have the pres3sn of iernan as iernþ rather than ierneþ - do you know whether these are both acceptable variants?
  • I can't find hwǣrin in my grammar (though obviously I can work out what it means) - is this formulation (wh-word+prep compound) a productive one?

Ouch, yes; I am far from perfect, particularly as I rush at a job while eating a sandwich, and I have made some changes. Hwǣrin is simply "wherein", which is I believe the correct construction here. Hogweard 20:08, 15 Hrēþmōnaþ 2011 (UTC)
